Cold Storage Maintenance Tips and Troubleshooting:
1. If the cold storage door is not closing tightly, adjust the door hinges and locks relative to the storage .
2. If the cold storage is not cooling or cooling is poor, check the condenser for dirt. Check the evaporator for excessive frost. Check for refrigerant leaks (apply soapy water to the pipe connections; bubbles indicate a leak). Have a professional replenish refrigerant and repair any leaks. Check the cold storage door seals for integrity and eliminate any problems. Check the cold storage refrigeration unit for operation. Check the computer controller parameters for correct settings and readjust them. Check the controller for malfunctions and replace them. Check for adequate clearance between items stored in the cold storage unit and clear any obstructions.
3. If the refrigerator starts frequently, does not start for extended periods, runs for extended periods without stopping, or shuts down when the temperature is below zero. A. Check the condenser for dirt. Poor heat dissipation can cause the chiller’s condensing pressure to be too high. To protect the compressor, the pressure controller stops the machine. Wait until heat dissipation is restored. Press the black reset button on the pressure controller to automatically resume operation. B. The controller parameters are incorrectly set; reset them. C. Cooling is poor. Refer to Trouble 2. D. Temperature control failure. E. Electrical damage.
4. The cold storage distribution box does not respond after switching on the circuit breaker, but the three-phase power is normal. Check the neutral wire to see if it has 220V. The cold storage components (valves, controllers) are set correctly, and no user adjustments are required.
5. The interior lights are not on. Check for malfunctioning switches and damaged bulbs. Disconnect the power supply during this inspection, and ensure the lampshade is waterproof when installing.
6. When the ambient temperature is too high, the chiller may shut down prematurely after running for a period of time before the room temperature reaches the set value. This is due to the ambient temperature rising, causing the condensing pressure of the chiller to rise too high. To protect the compressor, the machine shuts down under the pressure controller. Wait until the heat is dissipated properly. Press the black reset button on the pressure controller to automatically resume operation. Also check that the water condenser is dissipating heat properly. Do not arbitrarily adjust the set value on the pressure controller, otherwise the pressure controller will not protect the chiller.
7. Check the power supply: There is no power to the distribution box or the display is blank. Check the cold storage’s dedicated switch for malfunction. If the chiller starts frequently, does not start for extended periods, runs for extended periods without stopping, or shuts down before the room temperature reaches the set point.
8. If the machine makes unusual noises during operation, shut it down and check whether it is caused by vibration or a mechanical failure. If there is unusual noise in the distribution box, this is caused by the AC contactor and is due to localized stiffness in the contactor’s moving parts. Turn off the power, then press the contactor’s magnet back and forth to eliminate the noise. When the ambient temperature is too high, the chiller may shut down prematurely after running for a while before the room temperature reaches the set point. This is due to the ambient temperature rising, causing the condensing pressure of the refrigerator to be too high. To protect the compressor, the machine stops operating under the pressure controller. Once the heat is properly dissipated, press the black reset button on the pressure controller to automatically resume operation. Also, check that the water condenser is properly dissipating heat. Do not arbitrarily adjust the set value on the pressure controller; otherwise, the pressure controller will not be able to protect the refrigerator.
