The dangers and causes of excessively high temperature of cold storage compressor

The exhaust temperature of the cold storage refrigeration compressor should generally be 15~30℃ lower than the flash point of the lubricating oil and should not be too high. If the exhaust temperature of the cold storage refrigeration compressor is too high, the oil temperature will rise. The viscosity of the oil will decrease and it will not be easy to form an oil film, which will increase the wear and heat of the moving parts. It will easily cause the lubricating oil to carbonize and coke, causing the cylinder to become rough or the valve plate to not work properly. ; Causes the piston and cylinder to overheat, which reduces the gas transmission coefficient, affects the gas transmission efficiency of the cold storage compressor, and makes the operation uneconomical.
The general reasons why the exhaust temperature of the cold storage compressor is too high are as follows:

1) Insufficient cooling water volume or high water temperature of the cold storage compressor will cause the condensation pressure to be too high, and the exhaust temperature of the cold storage compressor will also increase.
2) The refrigerant charge is excessive, causing liquid to accumulate in the condenser, reducing the cooling area, increasing the condensing pressure, and the discharge temperature of the cold storage compressor also increases.
3) The exhaust valve plate or false safety cover is not tightly sealed, and high and low pressure air leakage will increase the exhaust temperature.
4) If the suction pressure is too low, the compression ratio will increase and the exhaust temperature will increase.
5) The suction superheat is large, causing the exhaust temperature to rise.
6) If the clearance volume of the cold storage compressor is large or the starting auxiliary valve leaks, it is equivalent to a large suction superheat, which will increase the exhaust temperature of the cold storage compressor.

The horizontal condensers in some refrigeration plants have been used for a long time, and some ammonia pipes have been blocked due to corrosion and leakage. Many pipes have been blocked and the condenser has not been replaced, resulting in a reduction in cooling area and an increase in condensation pressure. Cold storage The discharge temperature of the compressor increases accordingly.
In short, if the exhaust temperature of the cold storage compressor is too high, the cause should be carefully found to eliminate the phenomenon of excessive exhaust temperature and reduce operating costs.
