Working principle chiller unit

The principle of chiller unit:

It uses a shell-and-tube evaporator to exchange heat between water and refrigerant. The refrigerant system absorbs the heat load in the water, cools the water to produce cold water, and then brings heat to the shell-and-tube condenser through the action of the compressor. The refrigerant and water Perform heat exchange so that the water absorbs the heat and then takes it out of the external cooling tower through the water pipe to dissipate it (water cooling)

At the beginning, the compressor sucks the low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas after evaporation and refrigeration, and then compresses it into high-temperature and high-pressure gas and sends it to the condenser; the high-pressure and high-temperature gas is cooled by the condenser to condense the gas into a normal temperature and high-pressure liquid;

When the normal temperature and high pressure liquid flows into the thermal expansion valve, it is throttled into low temperature and low pressure wet steam, flows into the shell and tube evaporator, absorbs the heat of the frozen water in the evaporator to lower the water temperature; the evaporated refrigerant is sucked back to the compressor In the process, the next refrigeration cycle is repeated, so as to achieve the purpose of refrigeration.

Water-cooled chiller maintenance:

During the normal operation of the water-cooled chiller, it is inevitable that the cooling effect will be affected by dirt or other impurities. Therefore, in order to prolong the service life of the main unit and achieve a better cooling effect, regular maintenance and maintenance work should be done to ensure the operation quality of the chiller and improve production efficiency.

1. Regularly check whether the voltage and current of the chiller are stable, and whether the sound of the compressor is running normally. When the chiller is working normally, the voltage is 380V and the current is within the range of 11A-15A, which is normal.

2. Regularly check whether there is any leakage of the refrigerant of the chiller: it can be judged by referring to the parameters displayed on the high and low pressure gauge on the front panel of the host. According to temperature changes (winter, summer), the pressure display of the chiller is also different. When the chiller is working normally, the high pressure display is generally 11-17kg, and the low pressure display is within the range of 3-5kg.

3. Check whether the cooling water system of the chiller is normal, whether the fan of the cooling water tower and the sprinkler shaft are running well, and whether the water replenishment of the built-in water tank of the chiller is normal.

4. When the chiller is used for six months, the system should be cleaned. It should be cleaned once a year. The main cleaning parts include: cooling water tower, heat dissipation water pipe and condenser to ensure better cooling effect.

5. When the chiller is not in use for a long time, the circuit switches of the water pump, compressor and the main power supply of the cooling water tower should be turned off in time.
