After a period of time, the temperature of the cold storage reaches -25℃. There is no special requirement for this period of time. The storage temperature has strict requirements, between -22℃~25℃, this is a typical low temperature storage.

Cold storage capacity calculation method

● Cold storage tonnage calculation:

1. Cold storage tonnage = internal volume of cold storage room × volume utilization factor × unit weight of food.

2. The internal volume of the cold storage room of the cold storage = the internal length × width × height (cubic)

3. Volume utilization factor of cold storage:

500~1000 cubic meters = 0.40

1001~2000 cubic =0.50

2001~10000 cubic meters =0.55

10001~15000 cubic meters = 0.60

● Food unit weight:

Frozen meat = 0.40 tons/cubic

Frozen fish = 0.47 tons/cubic

Fresh fruits and vegetables = 0.23 tons/m3

Machine-made ice = 0.75 tons/cubic

Frozen sheep cavity = 0.25 tons/cubic

Boneless meat or by-products = 0.60 tons/cubic

Frozen poultry in boxes = 0.55 tons/m3

● Calculation method of cold storage warehousing quantity:

1. In the warehousing industry, the formula for calculating the maximum storage volume is:

Effective content volume (m3) = total content volume (m3) X0.9

Maximum storage volume (tons) = total internal volume (m3)/2.5m3

2. Actual maximum storage volume of mobile cold storage

Effective content volume (m3) = total content volume (m3) X0.9

Maximum storage volume (tons) = total internal volume (m3) X (0.4-0.6)/2.5m3

0.4-0.6 is determined by the size and storage of the cold storage.

3. Actual daily storage volume used

If there is no special designation, the actual daily warehousing volume is calculated at 15% or 30% of the maximum warehousing volume (tons) (generally 30% is calculated for those less than 100m3).
